I have three places that I tend to write well, one is in my Office with all my collectibles surrounding me and good music pumping loud. Second is the local Borders Cafe, I just plug my headphones in and jam to my music and the words just come. Lastly I tend to enjoy to write by a roaring fire while camping, the sounds of nature always move my mind.

I write in various places: bookstores, cafes, even restaurants. I can't write at home though.

Hey glad to have you on the boards. I think location depends on the writer and their ability to use the location to feed their work.

I write in the office, the living room and anywhere I take it with me. That is when I write. I am having trouble getting anything out.

I have noticed that having some great music on while you are working tends to help. Also I sometimes watch or read something of the same Genre that I am writing to help get my juices flowing.
